A Four-Stage Filter with True HEPA Technology

Look, I have spent considerable time scouring the internet and multiple other sources for the best possible air filters. Though I’ve brought you quite an incredible list on this website (if I may say so myself), I must admit that this Coway filter is one of my favorites.

Not only is this purifier compact and stylish, it has one of the most intense filtration systems I have ever seen. Topping things off are two important factors – it has easy-to-read and easy-to-use soft-touch buttons, and you can choose to use less power by setting it to “eco” mode! Let’s take a closer look.

True HEPA

Any True HEPA filter is guaranteed to remove 99.9% of pollutants in the room. Don’t be fooled by some of those other air filters out there which boast about having “HEPA” filters. It is the word “true” which tells you whether you not you’ve got the real thing. And let me tell you, ladies and gentlemen, this is the real thing. In fact, this HEPA filter will go the extra mile, promising to remove 99.97% of pollutants. That’s pretty darn close 100%, which is nothing to scoff at.

Four Full Stages of Filtration!

If knowing that this is a True HEPA filter isn’t enough to convince you that this is, indeed, a very high-quality machine, you should turn your attention to the other three parts of this four-stage filtration system.
First, the air flows through the large pre-filter. This stage simply catches all debris floating around the air. For the most part, these are those visible (or somewhat visible) pieces of hair, feathers, and whatever else may be floating around the room. You can easily pop this filter out of the unit for a quick wash in the sink, bathtub, or under the garden hose.

The second stage, also called the “Odor Filter,” catches those smaller particles which make up the unpleasant scents in the room. Whether you have pets, a musty basement, or simply enjoy cooking foods with unappealing scents, I’m sure you can understand exactly what I’m getting at here.

Stage three is where your air finally meets with the True HEPA filter. It is here that the actual pollutants are stripped from the air and stored safely inside the filtration system. These pollutants include such things as pet dander, pollen, and household dust – all terrible for people who suffer from allergies. This super-cleaning stage will also remove harmful chemicals from the air, such as those created by cigarette smoke.

Step four – that last, but certainly not the least important, stage is called the “Vital Ionizer”. This charges your air with negative ions. This stage clears away even more chemical pollutants and adds a bit of an extra zap to the air. The extra energy is said to be felt by people in the room, helping to energize them as well.

Conclusion

With four full stages of filtration, it’s hard to resist the allure of this air purifier. Though, I must admit, most of its appeal is in its appearance. I know I didn’t talk about its appearance much in this article. That’s because I try to focus my attention on what is most important about air purifiers – function. Still, you have to admit, this unit looks more like a sculptural piece than a functional appliance.
